Açaí Smoothie Bowl
A smoothie bowl that’s full of antioxidants, power berries, and fiber is just what you need to kick off your next morning. This smoothie bowl is full of healthy fats but rich in flavor to make it a healthy sweet treat. It comes together in just 5 minutes and can be enjoyed as breakfast, a snack, or dessert. I like to get creative with the toppings by using fresh fruit, granola, and toasted coconut strips. Details below:
Ingredients:
-1 frozen acia puree package (I bought mine from Trader Joes)
-3/4 cup of coconut yogurt
-1/2 avocado
-2 bananas (1 for the smoothie, 1 for the toppings)
-1 scoop vanilla protein powder
-A splash of @pomwonderful pomegranate juice
-Granola (I like the gluten-free almond butter mix from Trader Joes)
-toasted coconut strips
-honey
-cinnamon
-blueberries
Directions:
1. Add a bowl to the freezer for at least two hours. The smoothie will stay colder for longer longer.
2. Blend together the acia, yogurt, avocado, 1 banana, protein powder, pomegranate juice. Add in a few ice cubes as your blending to make it thicker.
3. Pour the smoothie mix into the frozen bowl. Top with banana, blueberries, granola, coconut strips, honey, and cinnamon. Enjoy!
