Crunch Wrap Supreme
We all know the infamous Crunch Wrap Supreme from TB. This is my take. These Crunchwrap Supremes did not disappoint and it’s a major bonus that these are even made a bit on the healthier side. These are perfect to whip up for the Super Bowl, Valentines Day, or even just a dinner night at home. Recipe deets below.
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 pound ground beef - I used @countrynaturalbeef
1 white onion
1 burrito sized tortilla - I used @sietefoods almond flour
Tortilla chips - I used the grain free nacho flavor by @sietefoods
Chopped tomatoes
Chopped iceberg
Plain non fat Greek yogurt
Shredded Monterey Jack cheese
5 cloves garlic minced
@tabasco green salsa
Taco seasoning
Directions:
1. In a pan on medium low heat, sauté about 1/2 of the white onion diced and 5 cloves garlic minced. Once soft, add in the ground beef, and about 2 tablespoons of taco seasoning. Brown the meat, and then remove from heat.
2. Warm up the @sietefoods almond flour tortilla for about 10 seconds on each side
3. Begin to assemble the crunchwrap:
-Lay the tortilla on a flat surface and add a scoop of ground beef in the center.
-Layer on shredded jack cheese and then add the chips The key is to have the chips in the shape of a tostada (you could also get tostadas but I wanted to use the grain free chip)
-Dollop on the plain Greek yogurt and evenly spread across the chips
-Add on chopped iceberg, chopped tomatoes, and green @tabasco sauce.
4. Fold in the sides of the tortilla to the center and then griddle on both sides for about 5 minutes or until golden.
5. Cut down the center and enjoy with more @tabasco
TIP: less is more! Don’t over add ingredients or else the tortilla won’t fold shut 🤝
