Jalapeño Cilantro Lime Hummus

It’s Thursday, which means I’m kicking off the football game tonight with my jalapeño cilantro lime hummus! This hummus taste so fresh with the combination of lime and cilantro, while still giving a little kick from the jalapeño. The thought of making hummus from scratch might sound intimidating, but trust me when I say, it’s the easiest thing ever.. just add everything to a blender and it turns to creamy hummus magic.. Instructions below!

Ingredients:
1 can garbanzo beans
1 jalapeño
1/3 cup cilantro
1/4 cup lime juice
1/2 cup tahini
6 cloves of roasted garlic
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt
Smoked paprika

Directions:
1. Drain the garbanzo beans and then peel and discard the outside shell/skin on each bean.
2. Remove the stem and seeds from the jalapeño and chop it up. Add it to a food processor or blender along with the beans, tahini, jalapeño, salt, garlic, and olive oil. Blend until creamy.
3. Add to a serving bowl and garnish with smoked paprika and a drizzle of olive oil. Serve with veggies, crackers, etc.
