INGREDIENTS:
-2 1/4 cup all purpose flour
-1 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
-1/4 teaspoon salt
-2 sticks unsalted butter
-1 1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
-1/4 cup granulated sugar
-1 large egg plus 1 egg yolk
-1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
-1 tablespoon greek yogurt
-3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
-1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
-1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
-1 jar of Nutella
-Coarse sea salt for sprinkling
Directions
1. Melt the two sticks of butter in a saucepan over medium heat until foamy. Whisk consistently until the butter begins to brown and give a nutty aroma. Transfer butter to a bowl and set aside to cool.
2. With an electric mixer, mix the butter and sugar. Beat in the egg yolk, egg, vanilla, and yogurt until combined. Slowly add in the dry ingredients. Once well mixed, fold in the chocolate chips.
3. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for a couple hours.
4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Pull out of the chilled dough and begin to roll into balls. Form a little bowl with the dough balls and place a dollop of Nutella in the center. Take a flat piece of dough and lay on top of the cookie. Pinch the sides together so that the Nutella is tightly sealed.
5. Bake for 9-11 minutes (check on them at 7 minutes) or until the edges become golden brown. Cool the cookies and then sprinkle with the coarse sea salt.
