No Knead Bread

Something about the smell of baked bread just really gets me going in the mornings. What I love about a homemade bread is how fresh it is. For this no knead bread, all you need is 4 ingredients and a dutch oven. Trust the process and enjoy the easiest homemade bread there is.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 cups flour (prefer King Arthur Baking)

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp instant yeast

  • 1.5 cups water

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix

  2. Spray plastic wrap with pam and place over the bowl with the dough

  3. Cover with a dish towel and let it sit over night at room temperature

    The next morning:

  4. put the dough on lightly floured parchment paper and form dough into a big dough ball. Cover again with a dish towel and let the dough rise for 30 minutes

  5. Heat an empty Staub dutch oven in the oven for 30 minutes at 425 degrees.

  6. After 30 minutes, add the dough with the parchment paper lined on the bottom of the Staub oven. Bake for 45 minutes with lid on.

  7. Take the lid off and bake for 5-10 more minutes
